If you are ready to get started on your health goals the first step is an initial consultation.  These can be conducted in person at my clinic in Freshwater or a telehealth consultation conducted via zoom from the comfort of your own home.

What happens when you book an appointment with me?
  1. Getting to know you

Upon booking your consultation you will receive a health questionnaire and food diary to complete prior to your appointment.  Completing this provides me with useful information so we can best utilise our time during the initial consultation.

During this initial consultation we will discuss your health history, eating preferences, medications, lifestyle and health goals.  .  We’ll then talk about why you might not be feeling your best or getting the results you want. I will take a few measurements and I may send you for some blood tests. The majority of this session is me getting to know you better, however I’ll recommend a couple of food or lifestyle changes for you to start on straight away.​

  1. Investigate and Explore

Behind the scenes I’ll be busy reviewing and researching your case, integrating it with my current knowledge and experience to create a unique treatment plan, just for you.  The plan will include your health goals, test results (where applicable) and your treatment programme listed out step by step.

  1. Present personalised plan

In the next appointment, I’ll step through the plan with you, making sure you understand how to follow it and the rationale for my recommendations.  I’ll deeply listen to your concerns, provide tips and guidance to help you introduce the changes and together we will plan how and when to start the program.  

  1. Guidance and Discovery

In subsequent consultations I will guide you step by step through your treatment plan, measuring progress and making adjusting as your symptoms change.

Regular consultations provide accountability and an opportunity to seek help and motivation, should things get a bit tough.  

  1. Review and Renew

As you progress, we will review your progress, running further tests if needed and making adjustments to your plan.  We’ll celebrate how far you have come and the goals that you have achieved.

How long is an appointment?

The initial consultation is for  1 hour and 15 minutes.

Standard Consultations are 30 – 40 minutes.

Acute Consutations are 30 minutes.
